Washington State Checklists (including caution zone and hazard zone), developed more than 20 years ago, have been widely used by practitioners to identify issues that may lead to musculoskeletal disorders. Recently, following 5-year surveillance project (funded by a NIOSH grant) a new industry-specific WMSD hazard evaluation tool has been developed and disseminated, intended to be used by employers and public/occupational health practitioners to assist them in focusing WMSD prevention efforts. Through workers' compensation claims data analysis, musculoskeletal risk assessment of jobs during company site visits, and interviews with management, labor, and injured workers themselves, the new checklists consider the nature of WMSD risk factors in manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, services, wholesale and retail, and construction industries. 主講者簡介 Dr. Jia-Hua Lin is a research ergonomist with the SHARP (Safety and Health Assessment of Research for Prevention) program within the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. He is appointed an affiliate associate professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Washington – Seattle. He currently serves as a scientific editor for the journal Applied Ergonomics . Dr. Lin’s research topics include physical ergonomics and occupational biomechanics, particularly in upper extremities; strength and capacity; human-tool interface; general occupational safety and health; and office ergonomics. His collaborations extend to domestic and international universities and hospitals. A member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (USA), and a BCPE (USA) certified professional ergonomist, Dr. Lin graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Ph.D. and M.S. in industrial engineering. Submission instructions HEPS 2014 will invite high quality contributions in the form of papers and posters. All contributions should be submitted via the Conference Management System (CMS). Acceptance will be subject to peer reviews in terms of significance, accuracy, and clarity of the proposal. Papers should report original work that has neither been published previously, nor is under consideration for publication elsewhere. The prospective authors will be asked to sign up and login to the CMS in which they will be asked to enter an 800-word proposal as well as other proposal information. The proposal should specify background/purpose, methods, results, and discussion. An evaluation of the submitted proposal will be conducted by at least two independent peer experts from the Scientific Committee. Following the evaluation, the committee will notify the author of the review results according to the timeline designated in Important Dates. The accepted author will then be requested to submit, via CMS, a camera-ready manuscript which is at least 6 pages long but not exceeding ten. Posters are appropriate for work with in-progress or late-breaking findings. The Scientific Committee will carry out an evaluation on a 300-word proposal that should specify the essence of the planned presentation. If accepted, submission of a 3-page extended abstract for inclusion into the Conference Proceedings will be required. Important dates Papers 800-word Proposal: September 10, 2013 Review result notification: November 10, 2013 Camera-ready manuscript: January 10, 2014 Posters 300-word Proposal: January 1, 2014 Review result notification: February 1, 14 Camera-ready extended abstract: March 1, 2014 Publication Plan All accepted final papers and extended poster abstracts will be included in the Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM with an ISBN reference. In addition, the accepted final papers will be published as a monograph book entitled Bridging Research and Good Practices towards Patient Welfare by the CRC Press, an imprint of Taylor and Francis. The book will be sent to Thomson Reuters for index application into the Conference Proceedings Citation Index under the ISI Web of Science. To meet high publication standards, camera-ready manuscripts should strictly conform to the designated formats required by the Scientific Committee. < 返回最新訊息 2021年4月27日 星期二 人因工程學會第14/15屆理事長交接儀式 人因工程學會第14/15屆理事長交接儀式 民國110年4月２3日，中華民國人因工程學會於朝陽科技大學，進行第14/15屆理事長交接儀式，與會出席人員包含新舊任工作團隊。首先由第14屆吳欣潔理事長致詞，對於過去兩年來，學會重要的兩大議題：醫療人因與人因工程證照上的推動給予肯定，也點出執行面的困難，期待交棒於新任理事長，能夠克服難關，持續邁進。並且感謝這兩年來的各位幹部的付出與努力，對於未來在承辦研討會相關的事宜上，會有很好的經驗傳承，尤其是去年舉辦了線上研討會的成功經驗。爾後，新任第15屆理事長國立清華大學工業工程與工程管理系張堅琦 教授致詞，說明了對於新任的工作團隊未來發展期許，並且感謝吳前理事長對於人因工程學會的付出，也期望未來能夠將台灣人因工程推廣到更多的產業裡，讓更多人認識人因工程，使得人因工程能夠服務到社會與產業，進而發展出多元化的跨領域結合模式。前後任理事長的期許，代表著台灣人因工程學會的延續，也代表著人因工程學會持續的向前邁進與傳承。 進行新舊理事長交接儀式之後，張理事長也藉由大家齊聚一堂的機會，進行新工作團隊的介紹，也簡單說明對各個委員會的任務與期許，讓整個團隊成員彼此更熟悉任務方向與的彼此專業特長。在場新舊任工作委員會也同時進行相關工作交接，做好重要工作的延續與經驗交換。人因工程學會就像一個大家庭一樣，在和樂融融的氣氛當中，大家對於台灣人因工程的發展一直持續的努力，推廣人因工程概念，並使得人因工程學會漸漸茁壯。最後所有與會人員的合照，在未來的兩年，我們也期待在張理事長的領導和新的工作團隊能夠結合會員的力量，一同將台灣人因工程推廣到更高的境界與更多元化的產業裡。 圖1、第14/15屆理事長交接 (左：朝陽科技大學 吳欣潔 教授（第14屆）；右：國立清華大學 張堅琦 教授（第15屆）) 圖2、 與會人員全體合照 上一章 下一章
