摘要 |
In this study, an experiment was conducted to test different warning design in the ITS (Intelligent Transportation System). The experimental environment was a desktop driving simulator where subjects drove in a virtual reality environment. The independent variables were visibility of blocking cars, warning modalities and warning content. The subjective feeling of subjects was also gathered by the subjective questionnaire. The result indicated that the warning was effective on the primary driving task, and the warning on head-up-display position of windshield was also useful for visual warning display. Visual plus audio warning is the best way while driving in the poor visibility condition. In the future, it is worth studying the interaction between warning system and driving behaviors by adopting an enhanced virtual reality simulator and hardware prototype. |
